Bellefield PTA
Working with Bellefield Primary and Nursery school to provide the best possible schooling experience for all children.
Introduction to Bellefield PTA
Bellefield PTA is made up of a small group of dedicated volunteers who work to organise and deliver activities and events to bring our school community together and to raise money to support the school and pupils. Being part of a PTA is a great way to meet new people and is both rewarding and enjoyable. Please get in touch by email to find out more about what we do and how you can get involved.

Funds needed for new outdoor play equipment!
Following the recent repairs to the mound play area and the addition of play equipment at nursery the next step in the rejuvenation of the outdoor areas will be the reception play areas.
However due to Covid-19 the PTA have been unable to complete their normal annual fundraising and therefore no further funds are available to support the project.

We therefore need your help in reaching our £1000 target.
Please get in touch if you have any ideas for safe, socially distanced fund raising or if your employer might be interested in making a donation or a fund matching agreement with us for a future event .
What is a PTA?
PTA is an abbreviation for 'parent-teacher association'.
A PTA is a school association run by some of the parents and teachers to organise events to raise money to support the children and the school as a whole to give every student the best possible experience during school and to get the most from their education.
Why a PTA is important for fundraising.
School budgets unfortunately do not cover many 'extras' such as school trips and play equipment, leavers gifts and added bonuses such as Christmas parties. Budgets often don't even stretch enough to even allow for all the essentials schools require such as reading and writing material, IT equipment and more.
Bringing everyone together
A PTA is a great way to bring together parents, teachers and the local community to raise funds and to support the school.

2019 UV Disco
In a bid to cut down our plastic usage at our annual autumn disco we swapped glow sticks for UV face paints and decorations and this went down very well. Both the volunteers who applied the face paints and the children who received them had an amazing time. The art work that decorated the hall was a mix of donations by a very talented reception child and his grandmother and also works of the art club run by Mrs Bennett.
